The organization of the event was coordinated by the Agrupamento de Escolas de Eixo. According to Sara Ratola, teacher and coordinator of the activity, «this place is fantastic for this kind of events and could not be more appropriate, giving everyone a fantastic experience». In fact, the Quinta de S. Francisco has been chosen due to the proximity to the school, but also because it has excellent trails, with different altimetry, security conditions and the stunning natural landscape, ideal for the practice of this sport.
Approximately 400 students from the 3rd grade to the 9th grade, along with their teachers, staff and several parents went to the site to support the 160 students enrolled in this event. The pictures illustrate the general good mood, as well as the exceptional conditions that Quinta de S. Francisco offers for this kind of events.
